Prevention & Early Support

Dr. Shayla Holub is a dedicated mental health expert with a passion for improving the psychological and physical health of children and families. With over two decades of experience in psychology, she specializes in areas like healthy eating habits, body image development, and the impact of family dynamics on mental health.

Her research integrates multiple methodologies, including behavioral observation and experimental studies, to explore key issues like emotional well-being, autonomy in family practices, and combating fat-bias in early childhood. As a seasoned educator and researcher, Dr. Holub has received numerous accolades for her contributions to the field, including the prestigious Annual Excellence in Teaching Award.
